Concessions for TPI and Gold Card Recipients

| (Note: Not all States are
the same, you would have to enquire individually. This is
intended as a guide only, not to be taken as 100% factual)

| Telephone
simply
ring your carrier and advise them when you receive letter from
DVA
|
| Gas and Electricity
..If
your carrier is same for both ring them as per telephone. If
different carriers you must advise them both however the rebate
will only appear on your electricity bill
|
| Council Rates
ring
your council, dependant on the council as to whether they take
your particulars over the phone or you may have to visit their
offices
|
| Water Rates
.simply
ring your carrier and advise them when you receive letter from
DVA
|
| Car Registration
..If
you own your car you are entitled to free registration and a
rebate on what you have already paid
|
| Drivers Licence
..You
are also entitled to free drivers licence and a rebate on what
you have already paid
Note; For both car rego. and licence all
you need to do is take a copy of the letter you received from
DVA informing you of your acceptance for the Gold Card to your
local RTA office and they'll do the rest)

State Rail
.Ring
state rail, dependant on the state as to whether they take your
particulars over the phone or you may have to visit their
offices
(Note: The rail pass entitles
you to free rail passage, bus and ferry within the metro and
nearby cities, ie. Newcastle, Wollongong, Dubbo
.TPI
recipients are also entitled to 4 first class rail trips per
calendar year to anywhere within your own state)
