I
can’t really grumble about my career as it went at the speed I
chose. After my run as a permanent member of the Men Under
Punishment squad and then a posting to HMAS Curlew as Navigators Yeoman I
decided to get a hook which I liked so much that I stayed there for 8
years. After that I got it together and knuckled down, Mrs. Pownall
may have had something to do with that. We have two sons James (1985) and
William (1989). These two now keep me alive and broke. We have been living
at our present address since about 1982.
