| Biography:
I travelled and
worked at several different jobs after discharge and while waiting for my
recruit course to commence with the NSW Police.
I was stationed in the Metropolitan Area (Merrylands) on General
Duties for four years, then transferred to the Country Area and commenced
Highway Patrol duties. Also
performed Rescue Squad and State Protection Support Unit (SWAT) duties.
Now stationed at Queanbeyan as a GD Team Leader.
I found that I
missed service life and joined the Army Reserve in 1982, then RAAF Active
Reserve, followed by a transfer to the RANR and back to RAAFAR.
I was fortunate enough to do a tour with UNMISET to East Timor in
2002, where I was attached to the MP Section at the Australian National
Command Element, Dili.
I have been
married to my wife Sheralee for 24 years and have two sons and a daughter.
Nathan (23), who is a university student in Sydney.
Anthony (20), a salesman with Harvey Norman and Gabrielle (10 going
on 21) who is still at school.
I cannot
believe that so many years have passed since our days at LEEUWIN and I
have many fond memories (and some not so fond) of our time there.
