Biography:
Whooa, this could be messy. Spent just on 11 years in the mob, not very
successful but had a pretty good time generally.
Major points would be:
·1 Running the Navy’s tanker (Supply) out of fuel
coming through Sydney Heads. That was when I really made friends with
Commander (E) Holthouse.
·2 Going to Mururoa on the Frog-Flogging anti-Nuke
exercise in (I think) 1975.
·3 Working on re-construction team in Darwin after
Cyclone Tracey.
·4 Spending a year as a lagger at FMP, this
introduced me to asbestos in a big way and am still waiting to see
where this one lands.
·5 After Pusser's I decided I wanted to be a hippy for
a while, did so and had a bloody brilliant time for a couple of years.
·6 First marriage was to an Iranian lady, two
beautiful daughters (hard to believe I know, but some of the lads have
seen one of them at our Anzac re-union)
·7 Divorced and re-married to a very classy English
lady who keeps me on my toes (again hard to believe but check with Ray
and Sandy on that one).
·8 Am currently on 100% DVA disability allowance, big
thanks to Steve Bock, Ray Green and Ben Stock for their help on that
one.
That is pretty well it I think. I must say I have been very impressed
with the work put in by Steve, Mike, Ray and Wally both with the website
and the effort generally in pulling this lot together. A big well done.
