Biography:
When I left pussers I worked as an orderly at the
Adelaide hospital for a couple of years where I met Teresa, my wife who
was a nurse there. I left there and became a bus driver with the
State Transport Authority in 1977.
After going to night courses at TAFE for 5
years, I got my Transport Administration Certificate in 1986 I was
promoted to an Operations Supervisor a position I held until 1993.
Everything was then privatised but I was lucky enough to carry on as a
transit co-ordinator with the private company who took over.
In 2000 I was diagnosed with PTSD and other
problems health wise and was classified TPI by Veteran Affairs.
We have 4 children, 3 who are married and have careers of their own.
Believe it or not, one 14 year old at high school. Just shows that I
never know when to stop.
