Biography:
After departing company with you guys I
arrived at Albatross to learn about choppers, little did I know that
Albatross was to be it for me except for two short trips on Melbourne in
`69 (when we hit the Frank E Evans) and again in `70. I would have had only
6 months away from Albatross, so I decided enough was enough and got
out. I know now I made a bad rating choice as I really miss the mateship
and have only good memories from the time we all got together till I
left.
From `74 to 80 I struggled a bit as I had no
idea what I wanted to do, did a bit of labouring and dye-setting in the
plastics industry. Soon learnt that factory work was not for me and
joined Australia Post in `80 as a postie and enjoyed the outdoors.
Things started to change in 2000 so after 20 years I left.
From 2001 to 2006 worked as a storeman in
the car industry (pretty dodgey industry). Mid 2006 I decided to take
things a bit easy so now do 4 hours a day cleaning Sydney Buses, it
keeps me occupied or else I would drink myself to death.
I lost the love of my life in 1985 and
remain single today and have no children, love a beer (very much so) and
a punt. Only health problems are hangovers.
